It is with sincere regret that we record the Passing to the Grand Lodge above of E. Comp. John McGann, PGStB, PPrGJ.

E. Comp. John was Promoted to PGStB in 2000 and served as the Provincial Third Grand Principal in 2003. He also served as the Provincial Grand Secretary from 2003 to 2006 obtaining the rank of PAGDC. He became Provincial Grand Scribe E, serving that office from 2004 - 2006.

He was pivotal in the refurbishment of Stourport Masonic Hall and was an Honorary Member of Severn Lodge & Royal Arch Chapter C5583.

He was also a Member of other Masonic Orders.

Unfortunately, in his later years, he suffered a severe stroke and eventually was settled into a Residential Care Home in Stourport.

A dedicated Freemason and a great loss to the Province.

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Margaret and their two daughters Debbie and Julia. May he now and forever Rest in Peace.
