It is with great sadness that we report the Passing to the Grand Chapter Above  of E. Comp. Richard, who passed away in his Care Home, The Star and Garter in Solihull, at 9pm last evening.

It was just 1 week ago that he received his 60 Years of Service to Craft Freemasonry from the Provincial Grand Master, a very rare occurence.

Richard had served as the MEZ on 2 Occasions for Masefield Chapter C2034 in 1981 and 1982 and on 3 occasions of the Chapter of The Round Table, C7961, in 1996, 2013 and 2014.

He was Promoted to Grand Rank as a PAGDC in 1997 and was Installed as Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in 2004. An office he held until 2010.

To his wife Beryl and family we send our sincere condolences. May he now Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
