It is with much sadness that we report the "Passing to the Grand Chapter Above" of E. Comp. William Alec Brown (Bill), Sherlock, PAGSoj, PPrGJ on 6th July.
Bill was a member of Remembrance Chapter C8323, and Worcestershire Installed First Principals Chapter C6889 where he served as Organist: a position he held in several masonic units as the Guest Organist.
Bill served for many years as Chairman of Kings Heath Masonic Hall Committee and as Third Provincial Grand Principal in 1998 and Promoted to Grand Rank as PGStdB in the same year. He was further Promoited to the rank of PAGSoj, in 2017.
He received his 50 Years of Service Certificate to the Royal Arch in 2020, but the presentation had to be delayed until the country came out of lockdown.
He finally succumbed to cancer peacefully at home and may he now Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory
