On the warm Wednesday evening of 15th June. some 59 Companions gathered in No. 1 Lodge Room at Freemasons Hall, Kings Heath, to witness and enjoy the 37th Installation Convocation of the Chapter, and what a great evening it turned out to be.

The Principals had agreed, following the late Installation in November last year, that they would only serve until our normal Installation date, and so it was that E. Comp. L. Eric Bourne, PAGSoj, Installed/Inducterd E. Comp. Gerry Jinks, PPrGSN, CM as Z, followed by E. Comp. A. John Yeates, PAGSoj, PPrGH, being Installed/Inducted as H and E. Comp. Geoff. R. Weston, PGSwdB, Past DepGS, as J.

There then followed the Appointmenr and Installation of the Officers, many of whom had agreed to carry on for the full forthcoming year.

The Convocation was supported by the full Provincial Team, and we were delighted to welcome 3 visitors from Gloucestershire & Herefordshire Principals Chapter, E. Comp's. David Ford, PGStdB, H, Terry Neate, PGStdB, J, and Dave Hedley, PGStdB, Scribe E.

On completion 57 Companios retired to enjoy a very good Festive Board.
