This, one of the oldest Chapters in the Province, held its 675th Convocation at Rainbow Hill, Worcester on Wednesday 10th April.

The assembled company of 30 Companions included E. Comp. Richard Goddard, PGSN, who had been the MWS in 1986, E. Comp. Michael Dykes, ProvPrSoj, the Provincial Rep, and 2 Provincial DC's supporting the Escorting Officer E. Comp. David Emery, ProvDepDC, on this, his last outing in that role..

The Provincial Team was led by E. Comp. A. John Yeates, PGStB, 2ndPrGPrincipal, accompanied by E. Comp's. Ian M Fothergill. PGStB, acting as 2nd ProvG Principal, and Rev'd Justin T Parker, PGStB, 3rd ProvGPrincipal, who was also attending his Final Installation in his Acting Rank.

The Companions witnessed a unique Installation Ceremony which saw E. Comp. Roger Wilkins Installed as Z, and E. Comp. Matthew Rochelle, PPrAGSoj, Installed as J. Unfortunately E. Comp. David Morgan, H Elect, was absent. His place was taken by E. Comp. Russell Granville who did an excellent job in Installing J, and presenting the Robe.

The Chapter are providing great support in the organisation of the forthcoming Provincial Grand Chapter Meeting, and, at that meeting, E. Comp. Sir Michael Perry is to be Promoted to the rank of PPrGSN .

On completion the Companions enjoyed an excellent Festive Board.
